One of the five reasons to visit Minnesota are its
State Parks and lakes,
where you can go camping, fishing on its lakes and streams,
sightseeing
and enjoying the nature and wildlife. |
The Arts Scene
If Minneapolis is on your travel list, you can expect to find a thriving arts
scene thanks to the $500 million being invested in the city from foundations and private donors. Regarded as the
best art district in the country by USA Today and several other publications, there is something for everyone to
see and enjoy in Minneapolis. Make sure to head north-east of the city to check out some of the best performance
spaces, galleries, and studios around. There are plenty of free amenities to explore too, such as the Minneapolis
Institute of Art.
State Parks and Camping
With 62 state forest campgrounds and 67 skate parks to see and enjoy, you can
leave your busy life behind and surround yourself with the streams, lakes, and wildlife of Minnesota. There are
plenty of spots where you can set up camp and go fishing, but always make sure to respect the wildlife and nature
around you. If camping isn’t your thing, you may be interested in Minnesota cabin rentals.
With plenty of accommodation options to pick from, you are sure to find one that suits you down to the
ground.
Shopping Galore
If a spot of retail therapy is what you’re after, you are sure to find it at the
Mall of America. Known as the largest shopping mall in the US, you should set aside a whole day to enjoy the
endless stream of shops and luxuries that the mall has available. With four levels of boutiques and shops to
explore, not to forget the largest indoor theme park, you are sure to find something suitable for you.

Minnesota State Fair
Being named ‘best State Fair’ in 2015 by USA Today, it’s no surprise why thousands
of tourists flock to the state each year. As the second biggest State Fair in the US (only being dethroned by the
State Fair of Texas), the Minnesota State Fair runs for 12 consecutive days (beginning in Late August and ending on Labor Day). There
are plenty of fantastic exhibitions to watch such as the lumberjack competition. There are also lots of eateries
to try out, giving you a real taste for what the state has to offer.
Target Field
Regardless of whether you’re a baseball fan or not, a trip
to Target Field is one
you’ll enjoy and never forget. Situated in Minneapolis, the stadium provides fabulous views and fantastic food
around each corner. With ticket prices being as low as $14, there are no excuses when it comes to spending a day
outdoors and sampling America’s favorite game. Before you visit, make sure you check when games are on to avoid
disappointment.
Whether you’re planning to visit for a retail extravaganza, thanks to the Mall of
America or you want to surround yourself with the stunning natural beauty of Lake Superior, the state of Minnesota
is one that you should put on your ‘go to’ list.
