Europe welcomes families with open arms. Affordable, interesting and filled with exquisite attractions and accommodation facilities, some of the countries will leave you speechless. Whether you’re the adventurous type of traveler with a weakness for hiking and trekking or you’d rather relax under the burning sun at the seaside, Europe has a bit of something for everyone. Here are 5 family-friendly travel destinations you should include on your holiday itinerary.

London, United Kingdom

London is one of Europe’s most cultural cities. It prides with a puzzling history and it highlights some pretty incredible attractions. Traveling with the whole family has to be fun, for the parents and for the kids. While in London, make sure to stop by famous London Eye. Take the little ones for a spin and they’ll certainly remember this holiday for a lifetime. Madam Tussaud’s Museum is a great place to see as well. The museum features the wax statues of some of the world’s most famous celebrities. Teens will love to pose next to One Direction or Justin Bieber! For some relaxation, check out St. James Park, and last but not least, wow the kids with a visit at the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio.

Munich, Germany

Munich is a fascinating Bavarian metropolis with all kinds of attractions and places of interests for interested travelers. Begin your day with the Old Town and grab a spot near the New Town Hall to admire the 100-year old Glockenspiel chime starting with 11 am every day. After that, take the kids to the Toy Museum in the Old Town Hall, and make sure to stop by Obletter Spielwarne as well; it is the biggest toy store in the city. Some other family friendly places to explore while in Munich are the Kids Kingdom, located in Deutsches Museum; this place is also home to the oldest and most fascinating international technology museums. Finish off the family adventure with a stop by the Munich Zoo, where kids can ride camels and ponies.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is not defined by the Red Light District. In fact, the city is filled with bike paths and paddle boats for families who would like to explore its inner walls. To save time and cross check all important attractions and places of interest, families are advised to purchase a Holland Pass. This includes entry fees to most attractions. While here, make sure to explore the Canal Ring on a boat, Van Gogh Museum, Koninklijk Paleis and Vondelpark for a nice picnic with your loved ones.

Moscow, Russia

Not many people would choose Moscow for a family vacation. And yet the city is one of the most beautiful in the world. It packs amazing activities and places of interest for its international tourists. There’s a lot more to Moscow than the Kremlin. All you have to do is explore the city. If you’re traveling with the whole family then it’s a must that you start with Gorky Park, Moscow’s most festive recreational spots. For some more entertainment, stop by Kolomenskoe Park, a great place for kids to admire the seasonal festivals and have the greatest fun.
